Fiber Radio Frequency Transfer Using Bidirectional Frequency Division Multiplexing Dissemination

We report on the realization of a novel fiber-optic radio frequency (RF) transfer scheme with bidirectional division multiplexing (FDM) dissemination technique. Here, proper map used in forward and backward directions for suppressing backscattering noise ensuring symmetry RF signals within one telecommunication channel. experimentally demonstrated 0.9 GHz signal over 120 km optical link relative stabilities 2.2E-14 at 1 s 4.6E-17 20,000 s. The implementation phase compensation remote site has capability to perform branching fiber network proposed technique as needed by large-scale scientific experiments.
